24/7 IT PARK, Delhi NCR

PROJECT INFORMATION

This project aims to develop a design methodology for a 24/7 IT park that effectively addresses the composite climate of Gurugram, India. It seeks to integrate modern and vernacular architectural techniques to enhance spatial quality and decrease energy demand in office spaces, supported by analytical evidence.

Situated in Gurugram's Cybercity (Sector 24 and 25A), the project targets a reduction in overall energy consumption for 24/7 IT offices in the region. It employs suitable services and standards to achieve a climate-responsive, low-energy design.

The design process began with pre-design analysis and fieldwork to gather insights for an informed design tailored to occupants' needs. Surveys were conducted to understand occupancy patterns and equipment usage, establishing a baseline for the design approach.

The research was published and presented at PLEA 2018, Hong Kong and NCEUB Conference 2018, London
